Terry performed his first show at age 13 at his school in a talent contest which he won. From that time on there was no stopping his burning desire to be a magician. Now in 2001, Terry has performed thousands of shows in several countries, and he still gets excited about performing, even today. Right out of high school in 1957, Terry and his wife Sue took off touring the Midwest, performing school assmebly shows. They performed one in the morning and one in the afternoon for 2 a day. After 2 years of 10 shows a week and street fairs in the summer months, Terry and Sue decided to keep the show at home and work out of there instead of traveling. They felt it was time to raise a family and got selective and only booked shows they could drive to and get home the same night.

Terry and Sue Harris and their act in 1958 performed over 100 shows a year at schools in Ohio and West Virginia.

By 1968, Terry had appeared on several television shows and was busy working street and county fairs. He had also become president of the local Ring of the "International Brotherhood of Magicians".

By 1972, Terry had his own cable television show, often hosting guest magicians and of course, Santa Claus. The act went to Canada, Puerto Rico, Spain and Portugal. He appeared on television in Portugal and Jamaica. In May of 2001 Terry will be the opening act for the "Grand Ole Opry Comedy Show" in Nashville, Tennessee.

Terry is the official trade show magician for Kodak. He was the opening act at the Maxwell House Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee for singer, Conni Smith. He performed a command performance for the Governor of the Bahamas. He is the "Dean of Southwest Florida Magicians" presented to him by Society of American Magicians Assembly #150.

Maybe Terry should be performing for your group.
